Bridge Advisors help you become transfer ready, by choosing a major early, completing prerequisites in your major, meeting GPA and other requirements for Specialized Admissions, and earning the AA degree in 3 years or less.
Undergraduate Admissions
As South Florida’s first and only public research university, FIU welcomes nearly 9,000 transfer students every year. We make it easy for you to transfer through partnerships with other Florida public and community colleges and through campus life programs to get you feeling the Panther spirit.
Specialized Admissions
Some FIU majors are designated as Specialized Admissions, which means they have limited space, clinical facilities, equipment, etc., and thereby require additional admission criteria such as a competitive GPA, an audition, portfolio, or entrance exam.
Transfer Scholarships
There are many scholarships available to transfer students at FIU. Scholarships vary in eligibility requirements depending on college and school, so we encourage you to take the time to research each to determine if you qualify.
