We’re A Bit Obsessed With Making You Transfer Ready
Knowing exactly what is required for admission and success in these majors will help you plan ahead. Students who do not meet admission or progression requirements, but who meet the minimum 2.0 GPA for transfer admission, can be admitted to other majors. We have many options where you can thrive!
Some FIU programs are approved as Specialized Admissions, which means they require additional (and more competitive) admission criteria based on indicators of academic ability, creativity, or talent (i.e., GPA, audition, portfolio, entrance exam). The designation limits enrollment to support academic progression and success when student demand exceeds program resources such as space, equipment, instructional or clinical facilities, and accreditor required student-faculty ratios.
