Yes, it’s that simple. From evaluating transfer courses and offering pre-transfer advising to maintaining a robost database of transfer equivalencies, our team is here to support your transition to FIU so that you can thrive while you’re here.
What We Do.
We can tell you everything we do—develop transfer-friendly policies, support student engagement, strengthen transfer pathways, advocate for transfer student needs—but what you really need to know is how we can help you.
Our team:
- Provides pre-transfer guidance in person, virtually, and by email or phone.
- Evaluates transfer courses for FIU’s University Core Curriculum (UCC).
- Reviews and awards military credits (Joint Services Transcript-JST).
- Evaluates foreign language (FLENT/FLEX) and summer enrollment requirements.
- Posts credit-by-exam (AICE, AP, CLEP, IB, and others).
- Pre-approves transfer courses for Study Abroad and National Student Exchange.
